April's Butterflies

This is my entry to 's fan art contest.
Butterfly Lady is the piece I referenced from.
It was actually the first photo I saw of hers.
She's a brilliant photographer.

I'd say that the hair was the most troublesome. I was planning on having a just black and white photo just like the original but it didn't quite look right. lol.
This took..... *thinking hard* ......a long time to do. lol.
(I don't remember how long it took, because I'm working on other pieces as well. )
