Behind the Mask

At times, I have to put on a brave face and smile at the world.
But sometimes, that mask tends to fall.
I feel happy, I have so much in my life.
But other times, I remember all the bad things that have happened in my life.
A couple of nights ago, I felt like that mask had been ripped off by a family member.
This is how I felt.

I started sketching this out, and barely got to finishing it.
This possibly would have taken about 9 hours to finish if I had worked on it continuously. (Just guessing)
I like adding the illusion that I had painted it on a canvas, so I added texture to the overall piece.
